Half the people in this corner of the kink map got here by refusing a word. They tried on "cuck", felt the wince, and went looking for something that described the same act without the sting attached to it. LewdChat's stag and vixen chat is where they landed: a room for couples who share, and for the men who are proud rather than diminished by it. Free, anonymous, no signup. Pick a nickname and tell the room how the night went.
Stag, vixen, bull: who is who
The vixen is the woman who plays. She has the freedom, she picks who gets it, and in most scenes she holds the initiative outright. The stag is her partner. He wants her to have it, often set the whole thing up, and gets off on watching or hearing about it. The bull is the third, borrowed from the same vocabulary the cuckold world uses, because that word does its job well enough that nobody bothered inventing another.
The phrase people repeat when explaining it is that the stag enjoys watching his partner enjoy herself. That sounds simple until you notice how much it excludes. He is not being punished. He is not being left out. He is not the loser of the scene. If anything he is the one who built the stage, and standing back to admire what he built is the entire feeling.
Where it splits from cuckolding
Same act, opposite engine. In cuckold chat the humiliation is usually load-bearing: the comparison, the exclusion, the being talked about in the third person while you sit there. Take that out and a lot of cuckolds lose the thing they came for. In stag and vixen it is the reverse. Put humiliation in and you have wrecked it, because the stag's pride is the load-bearing part.
This is why guessing wrong ends a scene inside a minute. A bull who walks into a stag scene and starts sneering at the husband is not being intense, he is being tone deaf, and the couple will drop him. The mirrored version exists too. A woman who wants to watch her man with someone else has her own room and her own unsettled vocabulary in cuckquean chat, and the same warning applies there: do not assume degradation is on the table.
And where it splits from hotwifing
These two are close enough that people use them interchangeably, and mostly get away with it. The difference worth knowing is one of posture. Hotwifing centres her: she goes out, she plays, he enjoys it, and he is often not in the room. Stag and vixen centres the pair. He tends to be present, watching or directing or at minimum consulted, and the two of them treat it as something they do together rather than something she does with his blessing. Plenty of couples slide between the two labels depending on the night. Neither is swinging, where both partners play and the arrangement is symmetrical, which is a different conversation happening over in swinger chat and, when there are feelings and structure involved, in poly chat.
Compersion, in practice
The polyamorous crowd coined the word and the lifestyle crowd took it: joy at your partner's pleasure, felt as your own. In writing it shows up in small tells. The stag describing her face rather than the bull. The stag asking her a question mid-scene because he wants to hear her answer it out loud. The stag going quiet, because he is not the one who needs the attention right now.
It also shows up in what does not happen. No score-keeping, no fishing for reassurance, no needing to be told he is still the one who matters. If you are writing a stag and you keep pulling the scene back to yourself, you are playing something else and the room will feel it. The nearest neighbouring dynamic is praise, run outward instead of inward, since the stag is often the one handing it out.
How the scenes run in text
Three shapes, most nights. A real couple narrates together, one keyboard or two, retelling something that happened or building something they are considering. A solo player takes the bull seat in someone else's scene. Or three strangers invent a stag, a vixen and a bull from nothing and run it live, with no real relationship anywhere behind it.
Text suits this better than you would guess, because the kink is made of information. What he is told, when he is told, how much detail she gives him, what she keeps back until later. All of that is native to writing. A description can be re-read at two in the morning. Nothing has to be staged, filmed or arranged. If you want the longer form rather than short exchanges, roleplay sexting covers how to write it, and threesome chat handles the version where everybody is in the same imagined room instead of one person watching.
Being straight about it: this is a roleplay and conversation room, not a matchmaking service. People come here to write scenes, to say something out loud that they have not said at home yet, and to compare notes with couples further along than they are. Nobody is lining up a real bull for you. Repeated meetup requests get you ignored, then removed.
Etiquette a bull should know
Read the couple before you type at them. Ask who runs the scene, because sometimes it is her and sometimes he is directing and getting that backwards is the most common mistake in the room. Play to the fantasy they described rather than the one you brought. Talk to her, not over her. And do not import humiliation from the room next door, because in here the husband grinning is the point, not a problem you have been hired to fix. More of that groundwork, from the opening line to reading pace, sits in bull chat.
Share what's yours to share
This is the room where the temptation to post a real person is strongest, so the rule gets said with teeth. Her photos are hers. Both of you saying yes is the floor, not the ceiling, and anyone else visible in the shot has to have said yes too. A vixen picture posted without her explicit go-ahead is not a flex and it is not kink, it is a violation, and it is a permanent ban rather than a warning. An ex is a straight no. Real moderators enforce all of that, and the community rules have the full version.
Come proud, come curious, or come to sit in the corner and read. The room is open all night.
