Wrists in the stocks, ankles fixed, and the ler takes their time deciding where to start. LewdChat's tickling chat is an adults-only room for lers, lees and switches who want tickle torture written out properly, not a gif thread. If you know what a lee spot is and you have opinions about upper body versus feet, sit down.
Ler, lee, switch
The vocabulary is not decoration, it is how the room sorts itself. A ler is the one doing it, the top. A lee is the one it is being done to, the bottom. A switch goes either way and usually has a strong preference about which day. Say which you are in your first line and you have said ninety percent of what anyone needs to know about you. There are clinical words for the fetish that turn up in articles about it, knismolagnia among them, and nobody in the community has ever used one in conversation. Ler and lee are the words.
Past that, the shorthand is specific. Lee spots, the places that actually get someone, which are never the ones an outsider guesses. Upper body versus feet, the oldest split in the community and still the first thing regulars ask each other. Tickle torture for the sustained version where the point is that it does not stop. Stocks and restraints, because almost nothing in this kink works if the lee can curl up. Ticklerp for the written scenes, which is what this room is for.
You are already writing this somewhere else
Tickling players do not need to be taught how to roleplay in text. They have been doing it for two decades. TMF, the Tickling Media Forum, ran long-form written scenes before most kinks had a forum at all. The Tumblr side of the community writes prose. The Discord side has an actual stated norm of at least four lines per turn, which is a higher bar than most kink roleplay anywhere on the internet holds itself to.
That makes this community unusually well suited to a chat room. You already write. You already know that describing the anticipation is worth more than describing the contact, that the pause while a ler decides is the good part, that a scene where the lee is genuinely helpless reads better than one where they could get up. Nothing about your habits needs to change. You are just doing it somewhere that stays open. If you want the general version of how written scenes are structured, roleplay chat covers it, though most lers already know.
Why text does not lose much
It seems like the one kink that would need a body, and it is not. What is actually happening in a tickle scene is a control dynamic with an unusually cruel timer on it. The lee is restrained, cannot protect the spots, cannot make it stop, and knows the ler knows exactly where those spots are. All of that is information, and information transmits perfectly in writing.
Text also gives you the thing no in-person session can: the stretched pause. A ler can spend six lines describing the stocks, the position, checking the straps, walking around, and never once touch anything. The lee sits there reading it with nothing to do but wait. That build is the whole appeal for a lot of people and it is easier to sustain here than anywhere physical. The helplessness half of it shades straight into bondage chat, and plenty of the room's regulars are in both.
Where the room overlaps
Foot-focused lees have obvious neighbours in foot worship chat, though the two rooms want different things from the same body part and the crossover is smaller than people expect. Upper body lers tend to drift toward straight restraint and D/s structure instead. The broader BDSM chat room is where a lot of switches end up, because once you have played with helplessness as a mechanic it is hard not to get curious about the rest of it.
And if you are here because tickling was the one kink that felt like a safe way in, that is extremely common and there is a room for it. Kink curious chat is for people testing what they actually want without committing to a label first. Nobody in either room will make you explain yourself.
A room that does not go quiet
Most of this community currently lives on Discord servers, and Discord servers for narrow kinks have a short half-life. Someone starts one, three people carry it, and then it is a dead channel with an invite link still floating around a listing site. You do the introduction post, the verification react, the rules channel, and six months later you do it all again somewhere else. The full version of that argument is on the kink Discord alternative page.
This room does not work that way. No invite, no account, no application. Pick a nickname and you are in, and it is the same room next week and next year. That matters more for tickling than for most kinks, because your lee spots and your limits are a conversation you would rather not restart from scratch with a fresh set of strangers every time a server folds.
Say what you want before you are tied down
Scenes here go better with thirty seconds of admin first. Which side you are on. Which spots are on and which are off. Whether you want it gentle and drawn out or genuinely relentless. Whether the scene has an end condition or just runs until someone taps. Lers who ask get better scenes, because a lee who has been asked will actually tell you the real answer instead of the polite one.
The room is anonymous, moderated by actual people, and open at every hour of the day. Come in, say ler, lee or switch, and see who is around.
